COMMUNITY IMPACT

WORKING TOGETHER

Contributing to the local community is high on Valour Sports priorities.

Valour have the opportunity to work with numerous schools, sporting clubs and elite sporting organisations. Working with these organisations and learning local stories has propelled our unwavering dedication to the community. As a result, Valour continually supports many community initiatives and are spearheading the #MoreThanApparel campaign to drive programs that positively impact the community.

SUPER 6 HIGH PERFORMANCE

Determined to offer #MoreThanApparel, Valour teamed with Carl Jennings from Super 6 High Performance. Carl is regarded as an expert in the field of Applied Athletic Development.

Having worked at an elite level, Carl now runs Super 6 High Performance, a high-performance program for children of all ages and abilities. Designed to help young athletes fulfil their potential in sport and life. Carl utilises his knowledge and abilities to help children understand their current mindset while his strategies can help them understand how to change and improve their mentality.

Valour’s support of the Super 6 High Performance program and partnership with Carl Jennings opens the path to help more community organisations providing the opportunity to give disadvantaged children mainstream opportunities previously unattainable.

Valour launched the One Team initiative in 2021, spearheaded by Netball NSW to launch a range of apparel with a more inclusive message. Valour now proudly offer apparel designed to provide a more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.

The One Team Initiative enables community sporting clubs to embrace adaptability and flexibility around uniforms to encourage participation. With the ability to offer mix and match uniforms for teams so that people of all ages, gender identity and cultural backgrounds will feel comfortable to undertake sport.

The local community is where it all began for Valour. It is also where it begins for all professional athletes. Being involved positively in their sporting development from the beginning sets a precedence showing the Valour support and commitment to their journey.

Valour offers a number of grassroot and community sports clubs sponsorship both in financial contributions and/or product inclusions. In addition to this, we sponsor Sport NSW and organising training clinics with our Ambassadors to help community clubs. One top of this, we remain dedicated to our local area, by sponsoring local communities and schools with trivia nights and events. We also offer giveaways and prizes to local community sports clubs.

As a sportswear manufacturer that supplies many professional sporting teams, we have a number of professional athletes as our Ambassadors.

Our champions include professional netballers, training partners, Athletics NSW ambassadors and Catherine Cox, an ex-Diamond and well-known commentator. It is important that our Ambassadors embody our brand and our products. They believe in the garments and are happy to endorse and promote them while also using them in their professional workspace. “With Valour” - A community initiative to improve youth mental health. The program, designed by Valour, will give local sporting clubs the opportunity to nominate teenagers they feel are in need of a helping hand.

Teenagers chosen will receive the opportunity to connect with a sporting professional in their field.

This phone call is designed to help the teenager share their story and feel connected to an inspirational athlete who can talk about their journey and the challenges they have faced. The aim for the call would be for the teen to understand what determination and perseverance can achieve, while feeling inspired to overcome their own hurdles.

In a fast paced, uncertain world, Valour hopes that one moment in time can make a difference.
