Valour was founded in 2009 by Sydney-based entrepreneurs Matthew Knight and Ryan Tesoriero with a dream of creating the premier sportswear brand that Australians could be proud of. With over 40 years of collective experience, Tesoriero and Knight didn’t just enter the sports apparel scene—they redefined it, revolutionising performance textiles and reimagining how athletes and organisations connect with their gear.

Since its inception, Valour has become a pioneer of custom sports apparel, working alongside the Australian Commonwealth Games Youth Team, professional sporting teams, state sport governing bodies, countless prestigious schools, and over 1 million customers for their sporting apparel and wholesale needs.

Before Valour, the supply chain experience was notoriously unreliable. Inconsistent fabrics, uniform styles, and colours were considered the norm, making unboxing orders a gamble—and that deeply troubled our founders. To fix this, Tesoriero and Knight made their boldest move yet by establishing their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Talon Global, in 2012.

With Talon established, Valour is the only Australian sports apparel manufacturer that has complete control over every stage of production. This ensures that every piece of Valour clothing, down to the most minute detail is of the highest quality–That’s the Valour difference.
