Sophie Dwyer welcomed as Valour’s newest brand ambassador
Giant’s goal-attack Sophie Dwyer adds another appointment to her long list of achievements being named Valour Sports newest brand ambassador. The young star netballer has gone from strength to strength representing New South Wales GIANTS Netball through an incredibly strong season in 2021, through to elevating to a senior member of the Australian Diamonds netball squad and finished the year winning Suncorp Super Netball Rising Star Award. Sophie joins a strong team of brand ambassadors at Valour Sport who have also recently added 11 Athletics NSW greats to their already strong line-up.
Sophie will proudly hit the court in her newly redesigned GIANTS Netball uniform from high performance apparel supplier, Valour. Representing Valour across their activewear range was an easy transition as Sophie embodies the women’s leisure and active wear range which integrates high performance active apparel with contemporary wearable style.
Sophie shared “I am super excited and honoured to be a Valour Ambassador. I absolutely love our uniform and what Valour have designed for us so am eager to be involved and represent the brand.”

Sophie is headed into her third season with GIANTS netball. Known for her long-range shooting and strong teamwork Sophie takes to the court with passion and determination that resonates with Valour. Managing Director of Valour, Matthew Knight is thrilled with the appointment.

Sophie had an incredible season last year and topped it off with the Rising Star Award and selection into the Australian Diamonds squad. She has maturity which far surpasses her years and a drive that will inspire so many young athletes. We first saw Sophie in a Valour Sport dress representing NSW at the 2017 Pacific School Games in Adelaide where she also excelled, so to now have Sophie part of our team again 5 years later I hope is as rewarding for her as it is for me. Sophie exemplifies all the attributes of Valour Sport and in particular that of our growing range of Women’s Active Apparel. We are thrilled to have her join our stellar team of ambassadors who are all preforming incredibly in their fields.”
