PREDICT THE AUSSIE MEDAL TALLY COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern entry into the “Predict the Aussie Medal Tally” competition (Promotion) run by Valour Sport in connection with its partnership with Commonwealth Games Australia (CGA) for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter is Valour Apparel Pty Ltd of 11/242D New Line Road, Dural, NSW, 2158, Australia ABN 55 140 450 308 (“Valour Sport”).

2.1 The Promotion is open to Australian residents only who hold a valid Instagram or Facebook account.

2.2 Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

2.3 Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Commonwealth Games Australia, and any agencies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to enter.

2.4 Entrants must be following the official Valour Sport account on the social media platform (Instagram or Facebook) on which they submit their entry, at both the time of entry and the time of the prize draw.

2.5 Entry is limited to one (1) entry per person, per platform, for the duration of the Promotion. Multiple entries from the same person on the same platform will only have the first valid entry counted; subsequent entries will be deemed invalid.

3.1 The Promotion commences at the time the official competition post is published on the Valour Sport Instagram and Facebook accounts on 14 July 2026 (Opening Date).

3.2 Entries close at 4:00pm AEST on Thursday 23 July 2026 (Closing Date). Any entry received after the Closing Date will not be eligible to win.

4.1 To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotional Period:

• Comment on the official competition post on the Valour Sport Instagram account or the Valour Sport Facebook account (entrants may choose either platform, but may only submit one valid entry per platform);
• In their comment, predict (a) the total number of medals the Australian Team will win at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, and (b) how many of those medals will be gold medals; and
• Be following the Valour Sport account on the platform on which they are entering.
  
  

4.2 Entries must be submitted as an original, unedited comment. Comments that are edited after posting will be deemed ineligible to win, at the Promoter's sole discretion. Comments that do not contain both a total medal tally prediction and a gold medal prediction will be deemed incomplete and ineligible.

4.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, corrupted or not received for any reason, including as a result of any technical disruption, fault, or platform outage.

5.1 To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotional Period:

• 1x official Commonwealth Games Australia Beach Towel;
• 1x official Commonwealth Games Australia Village Cap;
• 1x official Commonwealth Games Australia Scarf; and
• 1x $100 Valour Sport Gift Card.
  
  

Total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize: $300.00 AUD (inclusive of GST). The Grand Prize items are exclusive CGA team merchandise not available for public purchase.

5.2 The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.

5.3 If any component of the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that component with an item of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable written directions from a regulatory authority.

6.1 The winner will be the eligible entrant whose predicted total medal tally for the Australian Team is closest to (or exactly matches) the actual final total medal tally achieved by the Australian Team at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, as officially confirmed by Commonwealth Games Australia and/or the Commonwealth Games Federation.

6.2 In the event two or more eligible entrants are tied on the total medal tally prediction, the tie will be broken by determining which of the tied entrants made the closest (or exact) prediction of the number of gold medals won by the Australian Team.

6.3 In the event a tie still remains after applying clause 6.2, the tie will be broken in favour of the eligible entrant who submitted their qualifying comment earliest (as determined by the timestamp recorded by the relevant social media platform).

6.4 The Promoter's decision in respect of any aspect of the Promotion, including determination of the winner, is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.5 Judging will take place as soon as reasonably practicable after the Australian Team's final medal tally is officially confirmed, expected to be on or shortly after the closing ceremony of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

7.1 The winner will be notified by the Promoter via a direct message and/or a public reply to their winning comment on the platform on which they entered, within seven (7) days of judging.

'7.2 The winner must respond to the Promoter's notification within five (5) days and provide any information reasonably requested (including a postal address) to enable delivery of the Prize.

'7.3 If the winner does not respond within the required timeframe, or cannot be verified as eligible, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and select the next eligible entrant in accordance with clause 6.

7.4 The Prize will be delivered to the winner within 28 days of receipt of the winner's delivery details.

8.1 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who has tampered with the entry process, or who has engaged in any conduct that is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or otherwise damaging to the Promotion or the Promoter.

8.2 The Promoter reserves the right to remove or refuse to count any comment that is offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate, in its sole discretion.

8.3 If, for any reason, this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned, including as a result of any cause beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

8.4 The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, and CGA are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising in any way from participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the Prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8.5 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter's liability for any breach of a condition or warranty implied by law is limited to the resupply of the relevant goods or services, or the cost of resupply.

Personal information collected from entrants (including name and social media handle, and, for the winner, delivery address) will be collected and used by the Promoter in accordance with its Privacy Policy, for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and delivering the Prize, and will not otherwise be used or disclosed without consent unless required by law. By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, social media handle and comment content for the purpose of announcing the winner and promoting the Promotion on the Promoter's social media channels, without further compensation.

This Promotion is conducted on Instagram and Facebook but is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram or Facebook. Information provided by entrants is provided to the Promoter and not to Meta, Instagram or Facebook. Entrants release Meta, Instagram and Facebook from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, with any material changes to be notified via the Promoter's official social media channels.

This Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Given the Grand Prize's total approximate retail value of $300 AUD, no trade promotion permit or authority is required in any Australian state or territory, including New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia or the Northern Territory.
