A uniform conveys pride, inclusion and a collective goal to move forward, together.
It delighted us to get involved in the redesign of Toongabbie Christian College’s sports uniform.
The Uniform Committee sought quality, design, comfort, flexibility, choice, price and ethical manufacturing from their new supplier. At Valour, that’s what we’re known for.
In partnership with the Uniform Committee and Toongabbie’s passionate Uniform Shop Manager Dilee Duraisamy, we developed a sportswear collection for students, staff and OOSH staff.
Of the design and manufacturing process, Principal Dr Johan Griese said “The new sports and representative uniform has been designed by Valour Sport. The Valour Team, under the leadership of Mr Matthew Knight did a tremendous job in designing and manufacturing our sports and representative uniforms with a high degree of professionalism and enthusiasm. I wish to thank and congratulate Mr Knight and his team with the fantastic range they produced for our students.
“Valour was furthermore involved in the design of Sport Attire for our staff. This range was designed to complement our representative sports uniform. We are very impressed with the outcome for our staff and want to express our gratitude to the Valour Team for their effort in this regard.”, Mr Griese added.
The student range includes traditional cut and sew tracksuits and sports shorts, and modern sublimated netball dresses, athletics singlets and basketball jerseys.
Toongabbie Christian College Staff Range
We’re especially proud of Toongabbie’s staff range. The track jacket, softshell jacket and puffa vest feature a swoop design of panelling that wraps around the garments. It requires unprecedented machinist skills to produce such a technical garment. Constructed from five individual fabric pieces, the swoop travels from the front hem, across the front zipper, through the side seam and returns to the lower front hem. Two zipped pockets are intersected by the swoop too!
The machinists who produce these extraordinary pieces of art are part of our team. We don’t outsource manufacturing to third parties and that’s one reason Valour’s custom sportswear is the best you’ll get.
